Formula to calculate marks percentage
The basic formula to find percentage from marks is:
Percentage = (Marks obtained ÷ Total marks) × 100
Example:
- Total marks = 100
- Marks obtained = 78
- Percentage = (78 ÷ 100) × 100 = 78%
